Listening Devices & Hydrophones

Listening Devices are a staple of the leak detection equipment arsenal. They are used to pinpoint underground plumbing leaks by detecting the distinctive bubbling sound created when air is blown through the leak into saturated soil. Electronic models can also be used with a waterproof hydrophone to pick up leak sounds from structural leaks or pressurized plumbing leaks from inside the pool.
