Standard Plugs - Closed (Brass Wingnuts)

These versatile plugs can be used to block off almost any easily accessible opening. They feature durable brass hardware, solid rubber, and a brass wingnut. Brass wingnuts are the strongest option, but they require maintenance to avoid corrosion and locking up. Keep in mind that most lubricants will damage the natural rubber of the plug, so we recommend using a silicone product.

Choose a plug size that is about 1/8” smaller than the inside diameter of the pipe opening you are plugging off. The measurement listed for each size is the actual diameter of the unexpanded rubber. Additionally, recommended pipe applications for each size can be seen under “Specifications” once you select a size from the drop down menu.
